Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a float travel assignment covering the North Shore region of Massachusetts.

Details

Home health setting serving patients in their place of residence across the Beverly, Marblehead, Salem, and Swampscott service areas
Float position covering the North Region scheduling area
Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric, with conditions including physical impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities resulting from injury or disease
Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend rotations required once every 6 weeks
Uses Epic for electronic charting
13-week contract

Requirements

Active Massachusetts PT license required; MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted
Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
License required if applicable
All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
Ability to travel independently to patient cases as assigned
2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in their home, collaborating with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to coordinate care
Timely and thorough electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice are expected
Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public transportation or paid public parking (approximately $17–$22/day) are the available options
Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
Any requested time off (RTO) should be disclosed at the time of consideration
