Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and an active Michigan RN license.

Details

• Level 2 North is a 28-bed Medical/Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Diverse patient population including general surgery, vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, and trauma cases
• Unit also serves as the designated stroke unit for the hospital
• Fast-paced environment with strong learning opportunities for nurses at all experience levels

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required; LARA and Nursys verification must be provided
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
• Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within 6 months of employment

Additional Information

• A maximum of 5 days of RTO may be requested
• A strict attendance policy is in place — three instances of missing a scheduled shift or arriving more than 20 minutes late may result in immediate termination; exceptions are considered for communicable illness or hospitalization with supporting documentation
