Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP position in Oregon, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience with fetal heart monitoring proficiency.
Details
- Full-scope LDRP unit managing OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care
- Fetal surveillance is performed using OBIX; experience with this system is highly preferred
- Epic is used as the EHR; experience is highly preferred
- This unit does not perform OR circulating or scrubbing responsibilities
Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license required (need not be active at time of consideration, but candidate must be willing to obtain prior to start)
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Current NRP certification required
- EFM and STABLE certifications highly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience with current fetal heart monitoring experience required
- OBIX and Epic experience highly preferred
- Current resume and skills checklist (completed within the last year) required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to patient care within the Oregon State Board of Nursing RN scope of practice
- Patient and family education is an expected component of the role
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care and documents care in the medical record
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
