Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 24+ months of cardiac cath lab experience and required proficiency with Artis Zee C-Arm and Impella for a travel contract in Iowa.

Details

• Cardiac cath lab setting performing peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker procedures
• Equipment used includes Artis Zee C-Arm, Impella, Maquet IABP, Acist Injector, iFR, and IVUS
• Average caseload of 4 patients/cases per day
• EMR system is Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of current cardiac cath lab experience required
• Proficiency with Artis Zee C-Arm and Impella required; experience with Maquet IABP, Acist Injector, iFR, and IVUS also required
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy and comfort performing peripheral and coronary angio, PCI, and pacemaker procedures required
• ARRT (CI or CV discipline) or CCI - RCIS certification required
• Active BLS (AHA or ARC) required
• Active ACLS (AHA or ARC) required
• Iowa Radiology license required if applicable — candidates without an active license at time of consideration must apply upon offer acceptance
• Driver's license required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel contract within the previous 12 months; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration

Additional Information

• Hospital-provided scrubs in light blue
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday holiday windows
