Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT or NMTCB registry and proficiency in radiopharmaceutical administration and nuclear medicine procedures.

Details

Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
Schedule is 4x9-hour shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
On-call responsibilities may be required

Requirements

Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Current BLS/CPR certification required
ARRT RT(R) and/or NMTCB registry required
Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure required — pending status accepted
License required if applicable
No prior job-related experience required; one year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred

Additional Information

Independently performs Nuclear Medicine procedures using proper techniques and radiopharmaceutical administration
Responsible for coordinating patient flow and departmental activities, including radiation protection practices
Performs venipuncture and medication administration within scope of practice
Maintains nuclear medicine equipment in good working condition
Local Radiology candidates within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to be considered for this position
