Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT or NMTCB registry and proficiency in radiopharmaceutical administration and nuclear medicine procedures.

Details

  • Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
  • Schedule is 4x9-hour shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
  • On-call responsibilities may be required

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • ARRT RT(R) and/or NMTCB registry required
  • Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure required — pending status accepted
  • License required if applicable
  • No prior job-related experience required; one year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Independently performs Nuclear Medicine procedures using proper techniques and radiopharmaceutical administration
  • Responsible for coordinating patient flow and departmental activities, including radiation protection practices
  • Performs venipuncture and medication administration within scope of practice
  • Maintains nuclear medicine equipment in good working condition
  • Local Radiology candidates within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to be considered for this position
