Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at an acute care hospital in Maysville, KY, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and active KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work setting is an acute care, Joint Commission accredited hospital Emergency Department
• Patient population spans all age groups: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
• Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM (12.5-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• EMR: Meditech
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact state RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA-issued certifications required)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Orientation is held weekly
• Holiday coverage is expected
