Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures for a 13-week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Details

• Work in a cardiac cath lab at an acute care community hospital serving an adult patient population
• Specialty focus in interventional cardiology, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Procedures covered include cardiac catheterization, stress testing, TEE, and tilt testing
• Preferred experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care
• Uses GE equipment and Cerner EHR
• Day shift, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend on-call
• Call requirements exceed 12 days per contract period
• Occasional float to IR (interventional radiology)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
• RRT or RCIS certification required; RN license required if applicable
• AHA certifications required
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures required
• Cerner EHR experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is conducted bi-weekly
• Hospital scrubs provided
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
