Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week day shift travel contract requiring active AZ or compact licensure, ACLS/BLS certifications, and a willingness to take call shifts.

Details

• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing position in a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts with an added call requirement, including 24-hour call shifts
• Float to Med/Surg may be required as needed
• Meditech 6.0 EMR experience is preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or valid compact RN license currently in hand
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Must be a currently practicing ICU nurse
• Flu vaccine required — no exceptions
• Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, with occasional float coverage to Med/Surg
• Call shifts of up to 24 hours in duration are a contractual requirement
• RTO is limited to no more than 3 days per 13-week contract
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
