Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position requiring ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM certifications with teaching hospital experience in a fast-paced obstetric unit.

Details

  • High-risk OB unit in a teaching hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
  • 13-week contract
  • Floating required to the Mother/Baby unit
  • On-call required as needed
  • Weekend shifts required as needed
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Unit volume of approximately 200–300 births per month

Requirements

  • Active LA RN license or compact license currently in hand
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Teaching hospital experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
  • Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be disclosed and explained

Additional Information

  • Hospital scrubs are provided
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
  • Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
  • Any candidate who has been a permanent employee at an LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
