Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position requiring ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM certifications with teaching hospital experience in a fast-paced obstetric unit.

Details

High-risk OB unit in a teaching hospital setting
Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
13-week contract
Floating required to the Mother/Baby unit
On-call required as needed
Weekend shifts required as needed
Epic EMR experience required
Unit volume of approximately 200–300 births per month

Requirements

Active LA RN license or compact license currently in hand
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
Teaching hospital experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be disclosed and explained

Additional Information

Hospital scrubs are provided
Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
Any candidate who has been a permanent employee at an LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
