Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency for a pediatric hospital setting in New Orleans, LA.

Details

Pediatric hospital MRI department
Alternating weekly schedule: Week 1 is 4x10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM–5:00 PM; Week 2 is 4x10-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
Weekend rotation shared amongst staff
On-call is required on a rotating weekly basis; call week runs Wednesday through Wednesday, with 12-hour shifts on Wednesday and Friday, and 8-hour shifts on Thursday and Saturday (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience
Current BLS certification required
ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification required
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
License required if applicable
A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Work history with gaps of more than 30 days must be explained

Additional Information

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
Any candidate who has worked as a permanent employee at any facility within this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
Scrubs of any color are acceptable
