Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience including Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience, with night shift availability and required weekend rotations.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts)
- 36 or 48 hours available per week
- Weekends required; scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs
- Every other holiday coverage required
- EMR: Epic experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license (VA or Compact); VA license pending is acceptable
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (TNCC pending accepted at time of consideration, but must be obtained prior to start)
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- At least 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience, or 2 years of Level 2 trauma experience required, including some pediatric experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
Additional Information
- 13-week contract
- Up to 40 hours of RTO available per contract period
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
- No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
- Floating may be required in accordance with candidate's clinical experience
- Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
