Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with trauma experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment requiring TNCC and pediatric ED experience.

Details

  • Emergency Department (ER) unit within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (4x12-hour shifts)
  • 36 or 48 hours per week depending on staffing needs
  • Weekends required; scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs
  • Every other holiday required
  • Block scheduling is not available for this position
  • Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

  • Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted at time of consideration
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (TNCC pending accepted at submission but must be in hand before start)
  • Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
  • At least 1 year of Level 1 trauma center experience, or 2 years of Level 2 trauma center experience required
  • Some pediatric ED experience required
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
  • Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
  • Floating may be required in accordance with clinical experience
