Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at an acute care facility, requiring Epic EMR experience and a VA or Compact RN license.

Details

• 26-bed acute care unit with a diverse patient population primarily comprising General Surgery and Trauma patients
• Post-surgical patients make up approximately 90% of the unit, with the remaining 10% carrying medical diagnoses
• All rooms are equipped for cardiac monitoring, capnography/end-tidal CO2 monitoring, and continuous pulse oximetry
• Night shifts, 7p–7a (4x12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Floating is required per facility float policy
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted for consideration
• BLS required; ACLS preferred but not required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide post-surgical and medical nursing care to a general surgery and trauma patient population
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
