Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring strong CRRT and IABP experience, working nights on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Acute care hospital ICU setting
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2+
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Patients include those with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure and hemodynamic instability requiring advanced monitoring and support

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Strong CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience required
• Strong IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) experience required
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial line management, central line management, and continuous IV sedation required
• Proficiency in titration of IV vasopressors and management of IV drips required
• Ability to interpret ABGs and cardiac dysrhythmias required
• Experience with airway management and dysrhythmia management required
• Familiarity with isolation precautions and computerized documentation required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• NIH Stroke Scale assessment is part of clinical responsibilities
• Continuous IV sedation management and vasopressor titration are core daily duties
