Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience, charge experience, and on-call availability.

Details

• Works in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
• Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, and Pre/Post Procedure settings required
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• On-call required, averaging 10 days per 6-week period
• Every third weekend required, including on-call shifts
• Floating required between two hospital campuses as well as to the Cath Lab holding area
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• Minimum 5 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, and Pre/Post Procedure settings required
• Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted

• General orientation begins on Mondays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
