Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry position requiring 2+ years of Med/Tele experience and a valid NV RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract at an acute care hospital in Northern Nevada
• Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Telemetry patient population in an acute care setting

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• CPI certification required for this position
• Minimum 2 years of full-time Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a US acute care hospital
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• US Social Security Number required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Must pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Delivers patient-centered care in a competent, caring, and efficient manner across the lifespan
• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, with appropriate documentation
• Completes admission assessments within established timeframes per facility policy
• Applies knowledge of growth and development across the life span to provide age-appropriate care
