Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at an academic medical center in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work setting is an academic medical center hospital, specifically the East Tower
• Unit serves a General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics patient population
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Telemetry monitoring required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• No on-call duties required
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry required
• Intermediate clinical skills required
• Prior Epic experience required

• Provide nursing care across General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics service lines
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• No break required between assignments when changing representation at this facility
