Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) travel assignment in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience, Epic proficiency, and an OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in an academic medical center setting
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:3
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Schedule includes weekdays and some weekends
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Proficiency in IV insertion and telemetry monitoring required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Academic medical center work environment
• No break between assignments required when changing representation (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break)
• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
