Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU travel assignment in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience and AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Neuro ICU setting within a large academic medical center
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:1-2
• Day/night rotation schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM), totaling 36 hours per week
• Shift rotation occurs every 4 weeks; final schedule details will be confirmed by the unit manager during the interview
• Every other weekend required
• On-call is required
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Proficiency with IV starts, telemetry monitoring, ventilators, and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

• 13-week assignment

• No mandatory break between assignments is required when changing representation for this facility (exceptions apply for Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break)
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
