Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, requiring an active OH or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Details

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a large academic medical center setting
Day shift schedule (3x12s), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Weekday and some weekend shifts required
Floating to lower acuity units may be required
Epic EMR used; experience preferred but not required

Requirements

Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required
Required certifications: BLS and IV certification
Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
Travel nursing experience is a plus

Additional Information

Responsibilities include starting and managing IVs, administering medications, monitoring vitals, and educating patients on treatments and self-care
Collaborative care team environment with shared patient care planning
Parking permit options are available for purchase through CampusParc at varying price points and access levels
Candidates who have previously worked at this facility do not need a 30-day break between assignments to change representation
