Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12s), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekday and some weekend shifts required
• Floating to lower acuity units may be required
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS and IV certification required
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
• Travel nursing experience is a plus

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include IV insertion and management, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and patient education on treatments and self-care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team on patient care plans
• Parking permit options are available for purchase through CampusParc at varying monthly rates
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility do not require a 30-day break between assignments to change representation
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
