Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position in Ohio, requiring 2+ years of experience, ACLS, and proficiency with CPAP/BiPAP and medication titrations on night shifts.
Details
- Work in a 31-bed mixed acuity PCU within a hospital setting
- Unit primarily supports medicine services, caring for stepdown and med/surg patients
- Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and medication titrations required in this unit
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Floating required within the OSU organization as needed
- Documentation via Epic; Omnicell used for medication management
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU or relevant RN experience required
- Proficiency with CPAP/BiPAP and medication titrations
- Ability to take charge on night shifts
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- No mandatory break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who still require a 30-day break)
- Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned on night shift
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
