Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring combined adult/pediatric ED experience, night shift availability, and passing a Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam.

Details

  • General ED setting serving a combined adult and pediatric patient population
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract
  • Every other weekend required
  • Every other holiday required

Requirements

  • Active MD or Compact RN license required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI, and MAB
  • Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
  • Combined adult and pediatric ED experience required
  • Proficiency in triage, IV starts, and phlebotomy required
  • Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a 100% score on lethal rhythms
  • 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted, though a different pay rate applies
  • All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of application
