Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a Home Health position covering Island County, WA, requiring OASIS and HCHB experience with a minimum of 1 year of recent PT experience.

Details

Home health setting serving Island County, including Whidbey Island and Oak Harbor
Territory coverage of up to a 60-mile radius from the main office/hub
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–5:00 PM); no weekend or on-call requirements
Expected productivity of 6 visits daily and a minimum of 30 points per week
Average patient load of 5–7 patients per day
Patient population is primarily geriatric
EMR: HCHB (experience required)
OASIS experience required
In-office attendance required at least once every one to two weeks for team meetings, supply pickup, and admission packets
iPad provided for use in the field; cell phone not provided

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience required
OASIS experience required
HCHB EMR experience required
Current BLS certification required
Active PT license required if applicable
Must be willing and able to travel within a 60-mile territory radius
Timely documentation and strong communication skills required

Additional Information

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
Flexibility with territory coverage is expected
All time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required, along with a full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
