Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a night shift travel assignment at a Colorado hospital, requiring Meditech EMR experience and ACLS/PALS certifications.

Details

• Main OR unit within a 284-bed hospital
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Night shift staffing includes 2 RNs, 1 tech, 1 RN on-call, and 2 techs on-call
• Day shift includes a dedicated charge RN and trauma RN, indicating a trauma-active environment
• Performs a wide range of surgical procedures, excluding burns, transplants, and cardiac surgery
• EMR: Meditech (experience required)

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR clinical experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Trauma and vascular experience are preferred and will be prioritized during consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• The ideal candidate is self-motivated and easygoing, comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment
