Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a night shift travel assignment at a Colorado hospital, requiring Meditech EMR experience and ACLS/PALS certifications.
Details
- Main OR unit within a 284-bed hospital
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- Night shift staffing includes 2 RNs, 1 tech, 1 RN on-call, and 2 techs on-call
- Day shift includes a dedicated charge RN and trauma RN, indicating a trauma-active environment
- Performs a wide range of surgical procedures, excluding burns, transplants, and cardiac surgery
- EMR: Meditech (experience required)
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR clinical experience required
- Meditech EMR experience required
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Trauma and vascular experience are preferred and will be prioritized during consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
- The ideal candidate is self-motivated and easygoing, comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment
