Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Stepdown position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry experience and an NC or Compact RN license in hand.

Details

Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown in a hospital setting
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
10-week contract
Schedule includes 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per 8-week period, plus 4 weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) per 8-week period
On-call required
Travelers are first to float, with priority going to Heart Center Stepdown, then house-wide if no need exists there
Blocked scheduling is not available
Charting performed in Epic
Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly

Requirements

Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry experience
Epic EMR experience required
1 supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
Royal blue scrubs required
Flu vaccine is required from October 31 through March 31 with no exemptions accepted
Interviews conducted via phone or Microsoft Teams
