Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Stepdown position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry experience and an NC or Compact RN license in hand.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown in a hospital setting
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- 10-week contract
- Schedule includes 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per 8-week period, plus 4 weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) per 8-week period
- On-call required
- Travelers are first to float, with priority going to Heart Center Stepdown, then house-wide if no need exists there
- Blocked scheduling is not available
- Charting performed in Epic
- Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
Requirements
- Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- 1 supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
- Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Flu vaccine is required from October 31 through March 31 with no exemptions accepted
- Interviews conducted via phone or Microsoft Teams
