Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home care experience for a 13-week VNA Home Health assignment in Massachusetts.
Details
- Home health setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence
- Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- Documents using Epic EMR
- Time tracking via UKG/Kronos
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program required; Master's degree or doctorate preferred
- Current MA Physical Therapist licensure and registration required; conditional licenses not accepted
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in a healthcare setting required; home care experience required
- Demonstrated knowledge of physical therapy principles required
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsible for planning and delivering PT services in accordance with each patient's plan of care
- Reports to the VNA Clinical Team Manager, Rehabilitation
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and subject to a reduced pay rate
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront
