Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray/CT) with 2+ years of experience and Level I or II Trauma background for a diagnostic radiology position in Michigan.

• Hospital-based Diagnostic Radiology department
• Assignments in the ER or OR depending on scheduling needs
• Patient population includes pediatric (young) and geriatric patients
• Procedures include CT imaging and general diagnostic radiology/portable X-ray exams
• Equipment used includes GE, Carestream, OEC C-Arms, and Cerner EMR
• Schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with every other weekend rotation
• No on-call requirement
• 26-week contract at 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Tech experience required
• Level I or II Trauma experience in an ER, inpatient, outpatient, or OR setting required
• ARRT certification (RT) required; advanced CT registry or registry-eligible preferred
• Active Michigan state license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
• High school diploma or GED required; continuing education hours must be maintained
• Proficiency with GE, Carestream, OEC C-Arms, and Cerner required

Additional Information

• Performs CT and general diagnostic radiology procedures, including portable imaging
• May float to a nearby sister hospital
• Online orientation modules must be completed onsite prior to start date, typically one week before
• COVID vaccination is mandatory for employment at this facility
• Any RTO requests made after an offer is accepted will need to be discussed with the manager once the assignment begins
