Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray/CT) with 2+ years of experience and Level I or II Trauma background for a diagnostic radiology position in Michigan.
Details
- Hospital-based Diagnostic Radiology department
- Assignments in the ER or OR depending on scheduling needs
- Patient population includes pediatric (young) and geriatric patients
- Procedures include CT imaging and general diagnostic radiology/portable X-ray exams
- Equipment used includes GE, Carestream, OEC C-Arms, and Cerner EMR
- Schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with every other weekend rotation
- No on-call requirement
- 26-week contract at 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Tech experience required
- Level I or II Trauma experience in an ER, inpatient, outpatient, or OR setting required
- ARRT certification (RT) required; advanced CT registry or registry-eligible preferred
- Active Michigan state license required if applicable
- BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
- High school diploma or GED required; continuing education hours must be maintained
- Proficiency with GE, Carestream, OEC C-Arms, and Cerner required
Additional Information
- Performs CT and general diagnostic radiology procedures, including portable imaging
- May float to a nearby sister hospital
- Online orientation modules must be completed onsite prior to start date, typically one week before
- COVID vaccination is mandatory for employment at this facility
- Any RTO requests made after an offer is accepted will need to be discussed with the manager once the assignment begins
