Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with C-arm experience for a Level 1 trauma center in Rock Island, IL, supporting OR, ED, and inpatient/outpatient imaging.

Details

• Work setting is a 327-bed acute care hospital in a Diagnostic Radiology department at a Level 1 trauma center
• Approximately 90% of the workload involves operating a C-arm in the OR, with the remaining 10% dedicated to general X-ray for ED, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week
• Two weeknight on-call shifts per week (3:15 PM – 7:00 AM) and call every 4th weekend
• EMR is Epic
• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• C-arm experience required
• Active IL state license required; must apply for IA license (license required if applicable)
• Active ARRT certification and BLS required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory reference required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
• Taxable address must be outside of 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include intraoperative fluoroscopy using a C-arm and general diagnostic X-ray imaging for ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Candidates who have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Travelers are expected to cover 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
