Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown Cardiac Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital stepdown/cardiac unit
• Patient population consists of cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients
• Rotating days and nights schedule, working 3x12-hour shifts per week (days: 7:00–19:30, nights: 19:00–7:30)
• Schedule requires 2 Mondays and/or Fridays per scheduling period
• 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week period
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Floating required to PCU, Stepdown, and IMCU units
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• 10-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Interviews conducted via phone or Microsoft Teams
• Orientations are held bi-weekly
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Flu vaccine required annually from October 31 through March 31 with no exemptions accepted
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced pay rate
