Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC)/Stepdown unit with cardiac telemetry experience and an NC or Compact RN license in hand.

Details

  • Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in an acute hospital setting
  • Cardiac telemetry and stepdown patient population
  • Rotating days and nights on a blocked 8-week schedule: Days 7:00–19:30, Nights 19:00–7:30 (3x12-hour shifts)
  • Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 4 Monday or Friday shifts required based on unit needs
  • On-call responsibilities required
  • Floating may occur within PCU, Stepdown, and IMCU areas
  • Epic EMR used

Requirements

  • Active NC or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 1 supervisory professional reference from within the last year required
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide intermediate cardiac telemetry nursing care in a stepdown/IMC environment
  • Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
  • Royal blue scrubs required
  • Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
  • Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a reduced pay rate
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Blocked scheduling is not available for this position
