Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of sonography experience, RDMS certification, and a general sonography background with vascular and echo experience.

Details

• Outpatient/inpatient imaging setting at a regional medical center
• General sonography role requiring vascular and echo experience
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• On-call is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer in a US hospital setting
• RDMS certification required
• Current BLS (AHA only) required
• General sonography background with vascular and echo experience required
• Graduate of an accredited sonographer program required
• Active license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• US SSN required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• New graduates will not be considered

Additional Information

• Performs dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to aid in the diagnosis of disease and study of organ malfunction
• Operates sonographic equipment to capture images and communicate results of diagnostic examinations
• Responsible for patient safety protocols throughout imaging procedures
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients and their imaging needs
• Provides age-appropriate care across the patient population served
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
