Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR Tech for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care Level II Trauma hospital, working 4x10-hour day shifts with on-call responsibilities.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Level II Trauma Center with 360 staffed beds
• Cath Lab/IR unit with a daily caseload of 8–12 cases
• Charting via Cerner and McKesson
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call is required, currently averaging approximately 7–10 days per month
• STEMI call team activation requires response within 30 minutes
• One full weekend of call required per month
• No floating to other units required

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS required
• ARRT certification required; RCIS will be accepted if the candidate has IR experience
• Maryland state license required if applicable
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must be nicotine-free; facility tests for nicotine and cotinine — any form of nicotine use (cigarettes, vapes, patches, gum, etc.) will result in automatic disqualification

• The facility operates a strict no-tobacco policy and screens all staff for nicotine and cotinine
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Parking is available in the Patient/Visitor Parking Garage at no cost to staff using their badge
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• First-time travelers may be considered given the auto-offer process, with a manager interview conducted if necessary
