Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a high-volume, Trauma Level IV teaching hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of MRI experience and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Details

• Work in the MRI department of a 182-bed Trauma Level IV designated teaching hospital that also serves as a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
• Patients include a variety of diagnoses across ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas
• Department sees an average of 325 patients per day across all imaging modalities
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• Equipment includes Siemens and GE MRI systems
• 12-hour evening shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Current BLS required
• ARRT(R) or NMTCB required, plus ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Must reside 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for this travel position
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN, required for consideration

• Orientation includes online NEO courses followed by 3–5 days of departmental training depending on modality
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
