Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a night shift Emergency Department Short Stay position requiring 2 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Emergency Department Short Stay Unit in a hospital setting
- Med-Surg level care provided within the ED
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- Epic EMR experience is required
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, issued by AHA or RQI
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in the ED specialty
- Epic EMR experience required
- US Social Security Number required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal or religious exemptions will not be honored
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs are required
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- RTO must be requested at time of submission for consideration
- Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
- Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
