Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Decatur, IL, requiring at least 1 year of IR experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Work setting is an acute care hospital with 372 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center
• Position is in the Interventional Radiology (IR) unit
• Schedule is days, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Every third weekend is required
• On-call is required: one night per week as primary and one night per week as secondary
• Floating within scope is required, including to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Charting is done in Cerner
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Illinois (IL) RN license required, or active IL licensure application with an ETA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI AHA cards not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology RN experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction
• Any permanent or PRN employee of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before being considered as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not accepted
• Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RTO requests of more than 5 days require facility approval; ideally no more than 5 days of RTO
• All scheduling and time-off requests must be submitted upfront
• Scrubs may be any solid color
• Parking is available at no cost with a permit obtained during orientation
