Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience, including neurovascular and vascular IR, for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital with 449 staffed beds
- Interventional Radiology unit handling vascular IR, neurovascular IR, body IR, and trauma cases
- Caseload of 10–15 cases per tech per day
- Procedures include endografts, neurovascular interventions, stroke thrombectomies, and body IR
- Uses GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms
- Charting via Cerner
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- On-call one day per week, plus weekend call every third or fourth weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- Holiday coverage on an as-needed basis
- No floating requirement
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of IR experience required
- Neurovascular IR experience required
- Proficiency scrubbing cases and familiarity with interventional wires required
- Experience with GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms required
- Current BLS required
- State license required if applicable — pending state license accepted, but must be active by start date
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- This facility is a designated stroke thrombectomy center
- Vascular IR scope includes endografts, neurovascular cases, trauma, and body IR
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- All time off and scheduling requests should be disclosed upfront at the time of consideration
