Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a NICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and Epic proficiency.

Details

Inpatient NICU setting
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
Rotating shifts
Local candidates are welcome to apply

Requirements

Active VA or Compact RN license required
Current BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Epic EMR proficiency required — no exceptions
Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation accepted); diploma, Associates, or BSN all accepted
Candidates must not have been employed by VCU Health within the previous 6 months
2 professional references at supervisor level or above required for consideration
Must have a current, verifiable RN license (NURSYS verification required)

Additional Information

BSN preferred but not required
Drug- and tobacco-free workplace; smoking is not permitted anywhere on campus
Facility enforces a natural nail policy
Travelers are not guaranteed holidays off; any time-off requests must be submitted in advance
