Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a primarily inpatient role also covering outpatient and LTC settings in St. Ignace, MI.

Details

• Inpatient Physical Therapy unit with additional coverage of outpatient and long-term care (LTC) settings
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; no weekends or on-call requirements
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PT experience required
• Experience in an LTC or SNF setting required
• Active Michigan PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Treatment involves a multidisciplinary approach combining exercise and strength training, manual therapy, and modalities to develop individualized plans of care
• Therapists work one-on-one with patients following a physician's prescription and comprehensive evaluation
• Patient population includes post-surgical, injury recovery, serious illness, and chronic condition cases
• No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested for this contract
