Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Obstetrics RN for a Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and recovery position with night shift scheduling and occasional float responsibilities to Med-Surg.

Details

Hospital-based OB unit covering labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery
Nurses are expected to float to the Med-Surg floor when census is low on the OB unit
Night shift position
Every third weekend required

Requirements

Active Iowa (IA) or Compact RN license currently in hand
Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE
AWHONN certification preferred
PALS may be required

Additional Information

Responsibilities span the full OB continuum including labor & delivery, postpartum care, and patient recovery
Must be comfortable floating to Med-Surg during low OB census periods
13-week contract
