Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position in Maysville, KY, requiring cardiac experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in a 12-bed Intermediate Care Unit (2nd floor) at an acute care, Joint Commission accredited hospital
• General and cardiac specialty unit serving adult and geriatric patients
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to telemetry and critical care at times
• EMR: Meditech Medhost

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac nursing experience required
• Experience removing post-cath stents is a plus
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Full-time employment elsewhere is not permitted during this assignment
• 13-week contract
