Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a Level II trauma hospital in Winchester, TN, requiring 2+ years of experience and a valid TN or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit at a 198-bed acute and skilled care facility designated as a Level II trauma center
• 44-bed Medical Surgical unit serving patients of all ages
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call as needed; must be able to arrive at the facility within 30–60 minutes if called in
• Floating required on an as-needed basis
• EMR: Meditech
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and HWC
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent address must be 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• All required certifications must be obtained prior to start date; AHA-issued certifications are required
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear and hoodies are not permitted
