Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, Epic proficiency, and STEMI and Stroke facility experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
• Cares for all age groups across a diverse patient population including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health cases
• Hospital specialties include a cath lab, women's health, and stroke care
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (occasional 3:00 PM–3:00 AM shifts as needed)
• Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
