Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during a regularly scheduled shift may be required

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS; ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate for unit — must not expire prior to assignment start
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for L&D patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
• Two references required for consideration
