Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OR (Operating Room) position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• General Surgery OR unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (10-hour shifts)
• 40 hours per week, 4 days per week
• No call or weekend shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only); must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Minimum of 1 year of OR experience required
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care in the OR setting
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and reviews therapy and treatment plans
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and applicable specialty certification preferred
