Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with outpatient experience for a 13-week travel contract at a rural health facility in Ohio, providing 1-on-1 patient care across ortho, neuro, and a broad age range.
Details
- Outpatient-based position in a rural health setting with occasional floating to inpatient
- Patient population includes orthopedic and neurological cases spanning ages 10–100
- 1-on-1 patient care model
- Documents using Epic EMR
- Clinic hours are 7am–7pm, Monday–Friday; no weekends, no holidays, and no call
- Schedule is 36–40 hours/week with evening hours required; facility will work with candidate to determine the best schedule (3x12s, 4x10s, or variable 8s)
Requirements
- Active OH PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Outpatient experience required
- Strong clinical, documentation, customer service, and time management skills
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include direct patient care, evaluation, and treatment across outpatient and occasional inpatient settings
- Involves supervision and development of PT assistants involved in patient care
- Candidates are expected to demonstrate high professional and ethical standards with a commitment to continuous development
- Strong teamwork skills are essential to support the health system's operations
