Description

American Traveler is hiring a Chemo-Certified RN for a Chemotherapy unit position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring ONS/ONCC certification and Epic experience.

Details

• Work in the Chemotherapy unit of a 426-bed, short-term acute care hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• Level II Trauma Center setting
• Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12-hour day shifts, 7:00–19:30
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Floating to other Med/Surg units required as needed
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• Current BLS, NIHSS, and Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior chemotherapy nursing experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination required (religious and medical exemptions considered)
• No prior disciplinary history on nursing license
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility during the assignment
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
