Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital ICU setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required (hard stop)
- Copies of all required certifications must be provided for consideration
- Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- No schedule change requests, alternate shifts, or special scheduling requests are permitted
- RTO maximum is 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
- Holiday coverage policy: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them — major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Travelers must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler
