Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment requiring robotics, neuro, plastics, and ortho surgical experience, with on-call and weekend requirements.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Operating Room
• Required to work rotating weekends
• On-call responsibilities include rotating weekends and one to three late days per schedule
• May float to other surgical specialties
• Holiday coverage required
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active LA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Experience required in robotics, neuro, plastics, and orthopedic surgery
• Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
• Any candidate who has previously worked as a permanent employee at any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
