Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment requiring robotics, neuro, plastics, and ortho surgical experience, with on-call and weekend requirements.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital Operating Room
- Required to work rotating weekends
- On-call responsibilities include rotating weekends and one to three late days per schedule
- May float to other surgical specialties
- Holiday coverage required
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active LA or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Experience required in robotics, neuro, plastics, and orthopedic surgery
- Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
- Any candidate who has previously worked as a permanent employee at any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
